This is not a white-label catalog where you pick from a list. Custom formulation means the blend is developed for your product, your process, and your brand. The work ranges from simple profile adjustments (modifying an existing blend's terpene ratios) to ground-up development of entirely new profiles that do not exist in nature.
The Custom Formulation Process
Every custom project starts with a discovery call where we establish the target product type, desired consumer experience, manufacturing process parameters, and any regulatory requirements. Understanding your production environment is just as important as understanding the target flavor or effect, because a terpene blend that works perfectly in a lab sample but degrades in your manufacturing process is useless.
From discovery, we move into formulation and sampling. Entour's library of over 150 True To Plant® profiles provides a starting point for most projects. If the target is a strain-specific experience, we begin with the closest existing profile and adjust ratios based on your product format. If the target is an entirely novel experience (a specific mood, a unique flavor combination, a functional effect), we build the profile from individual terpene isolates using our proprietary blending methodology.
Stability testing happens in your actual product matrix, not in a generic lab environment. We send sample quantities of candidate blends for you to test in your real formulation, with your real equipment, at your real storage conditions. This catches compatibility issues early and ensures the final blend performs as expected in production. The process typically takes 4-8 weeks from discovery to production-ready specification.
